COVID-19 Response

As couples globally are facing the COVID-19 pandemic, taking the right actions and navigating this ever-evolving scenario can be challenging. Our team is making daily decisions through the lens of how to best keep our couples, employees and partners safe and healthy. We'll continue to update our policy on COVID-19 as new information is available from the CDC and WHO, as well as from experts within the wedding industry.

The following policies are applicable to postponements and cancellations in the event your wedding plans are affected by the pandemic:

Travel Restrictions
Beginning March 26, 2022, there will be no covid-related requirements for arriving domestic passengers. Travelers arriving in Hawai‘i directly from international airports must still comply with U.S. federal requirements; consult with your airline for more information.

COVID-19 Postponements
Any payment collected thus far minus any third-party vendor fees and a $400 operational fee may be applied to a postponed date no later than December 31st, 2022. Postponements must be requested and approved no later than 45 days before your current contracted wedding date. All original contract details will be honored for your new postponed date. Should you wish to reschedule for 2023, your 2022 contract will be terminated, and the Resort will create a new 2023 contract with 2023 package offers and pricing. Postponement request and approval must be in writing.

COVID-19 Cancellations
In the event that our Resort Wedding Operations are open, and you wish to cancel due to travel restrictions to/from Hawaii and/or your State or Country, or State of Hawaii COVID-19 Guidelines, the following charges will apply. Notification must be in writing.
•  Cancelling more than 90 days before the current Wedding Date: Operational Fee $500 plus any third-party vendor fees. $1,000 wedding deposit is non-refundable.
•  Cancelling within 90 days before the current Wedding Date: Operational Fee $700 plus any third-party vendor fees. $1,000 wedding fee is non-refundable.

COVID-19 Resort Wedding Operations

In the event our Resort Wedding Operations are temporarily closed and unable to fulfill your Wedding Contract details due to COVID-19 government restrictions, any payments made thus far will be refunded to the originally charged credit card(s), less a $500 operational fee and any third-party vendor fees, and non-refundable $1,000 wedding deposit.

COVID-19 Revisions in Agreement
Revisions apply to clients keeping their contracted date and changing packages and/or adding/removing items to their contract. Revisions to this agreement must be approved by the Wedding Manager and will not be allowed within ninety (90) days of the function. Items and/or packages revised and/or added will reflect pricing at the original contract date. Within ninety (90) days of the function, this agreement including but not limited to the package chosen, may not be revised. Client is responsible for all items and packages listed in this agreement. Revisions including a postponed date will be subject to the COVID-19 Postponements listed above.
